How Do You Connect an LG Smart Dishwasher to Your Phone?

When you first start using your smart dishwasher, you'll need to install the LG ThinQ app on your smartphone. Follow the instructions in the app. When the app tells you to pair your dishwasher with your phone, press and hold the “Delay Start” button on the dishwasher until the Wi-Fi light starts to blink.

Return to your phone and open the Wi-Fi selection page. Choose your dishwasher from the list of available Wi-Fi spots. Return to the ThinQ app and follow the on-screen prompts to connect the dishwasher to your home's network. Once you've done this, you can use your dishwasher via your phone, Google Nest, Amazon Alexa or other smart home assistants.

After working through the setup process, you may need to wait for a minute for the device to be properly registered on the network. Once the setup is complete, you should not have to do it again unless there's a power outage or a change to your network settings.
