Fall Hazard: Kohl's Recalls Antigravity Chairs After Reports of Injuries
Kohl’s has recalled about 31,000 SONOMA Goods For Life-branded antigravity loungers after reports of the chairs breaking or collapsing. The chairs can break when weight is applied, posing a fall risk.

According to the Sept. 29 recall alert published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been 18 reports of the loungers collapsing or breaking, including two reports of minor injuries.
Only SONOMA Goods For Life-branded Ultimate Oversized Antigravity Chairs are involved in this recall. To find out if your lounger is affected, check the tag that’s sewed into the seat fabric.
The chairs were made in China and sold exclusively in Kohl’s stores and Kohls.com between January 2019 and June 2021 for about $240.
Kohl’s is warning consumers to stop using the chairs immediately. You can return them to your local Kohl’s store for a full refund, as long as you have the receipt. Customers without a receipt will receive a refund in the form of store credit.
