Most Common Front Load Washer Error Codes

Here are some of the most common Whirlpool washing machine error codes, along with some simple fixes.

Loc/LC

Int

Sud/Sd

dET

This code means your washing machine sensed there were clothes in the machine while it was attempting to run the clean washer cycle. To fix this issue, empty your washing machine and restart the cycle.

This code means your washer door is open, or it isn't locking correctly. Make sure nothing is hindering the door from opening, and ensure you’ve closed it. If that doesn't fix the issue, the lock may need to be fixed.

F7/E1

This error code means you've either overloaded your washing machine or you have a malfunctioning motor. If reducing the amount of clothing doesn’t fix the issue, it's time to call a repair technician.

F8/E1/Lo Fl

When you see this error code, it means there's a problem with the water supply to the washing machine, and it’s unable to work due to low water flow. Check all lines for kinks, and make sure your water supplies are turned on.
